In April 2004, “Eleuthera Insurance Agents and Brokers Limited” (EIABL) was established as a wholly owned subsidiary of Rock Sound Properties (1976) Limited, to deal exclusively with the insurance division of the company. Consequently, as of that date EIABL assumed the responsibilities previously carried out by the T. Albert Sands Insurance Agency.

EIAL represents Royal Star Assurance, Bahamas First General Insurance Company Limited and more recently, British American Financial.

Consequently, in addition to motor, property, liability and marine insurance, the range of products offered by EIABL, now includes financial services such as mutual funds, annuities and pension plans, financial planning and investments.

EIAL is fully computerized. This allows insurance quotations to be produced instantaneously or within a reasonable timeframe of the request. Further, in an effort to improve efficiency, and to meet the specific needs and requirements of all our customers, EIAL anticipates being in a position to produce most policy documents onsite at the time when coverage is purchased from by mid 2008. Monthly statements of account reflecting all coverages purchased and any outstanding balances to date, are also produced for the information of all our customers.
